Dr. Eyal Kishon
Founder & Managing Partner at Genesis Partners

Eyal began his venture capital career in 1992 and is recognized as one of Israel's leading venture investors. Eyal possesses a unique combination of a broad technology background and an intimate understanding of Israel's VC industry. He focuses primarily on communications and semiconductor investments. Eyal is currently a board member at Allot Communications, AudioCodes, Celtro, FIS, B-Solar, Valens, Aragon and Intucell.

Prior to co-founding Genesis Partners in 1996, Eyal was the Associate Director of the Polaris Fund (now Pitango). Eyal joined the Polaris Fund from Yozma Venture Capital, where he served as Chief Technology Officer. Established in 1992 by the Israeli government, Yozma played a key role in the establishment of the venture capital industry in Israel. Before entering the venture capital industry, Eyal worked at the IBM Research Center, where he led a team that developed notebook computer handwriting recognition products. He also led a team at AT&T Bell Laboratories' Robotics Research Department which was granted a patent for signature verification for interactive security systems.

Eyal holds a PhD in Computer Science and Robotics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University (NYU) and a BA in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Gal Israely
Co-Founder at Cedar Fund

A co-founder of Cedar and an active board member of several of the fund's companies, Mr. Israely brings to Cedar broad and global experience, connections and point of view, mainly in the communications field.

Mr. Israely was previously a Managing Director in the High Tech Investment Banking group of Bear Stearns in NY, where he worked with high-tech companies including TechData, Vishay, Adaptec, MRV, Tower and MEMCO. Prior to that, Mr. Israely held various managerial, financial and operational positions.

Mr. Israely uses his experience and expertise in the networking and communications space to focus on investments in the component and networking equipment areas.

Joshua Ruch
Managing Partner at rho

Joshua Ruch is a managing partner of Rho Capital Partners and Rho Ventures, co-founder of Rho and serves on the Investment Committee of Rho Fund Investors.

With more than 30 years in private equity, Joshua has experience investing in all of Rho's active sectors. His investing philosophy is driven by a perspective that the human factor, common to all investment sectors, is the single most important determinant for successful investment outcomes. He most enjoys interacting with, supporting and mentoring his investment companies' management teams.

His philanthropic activities include serving on the Board of Visitors of the Duke University School of Medicine and as a trustee of Second Stage Theatre and the American Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.S.E. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Dr. Richard Lowe
Founder and President of RSL Telecom Consulting

Richard is founder and president of RSL Telecom Consulting, a consulting practice that provides business guidance and subject matter expertise to the telecommunications industry with a focus on the burgeoning wireless market and its underlying technologies.

Prior to forming RSL Telecom Consulting in 2011, Richard was Head of Product Line Management, Business Unit CDMA at Ericsson Inc. following the acquisition of that business from Nortel Networks in 2009.   Before joining Ericsson, Richard spent nearly 30 years at Nortel Networks, where he held a number of senior management positions across general management, R&D and global operations in the USA, Canada and Europe. From 2005 to 2009 he was President of Carrier Networks, leading their global wireless and wireline businesses.  Richard began his Nortel career in 1980 as a Member of Scientific Staff at Bell Northern Research in Ottawa, Canada.

Richard is a graduate of Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada and holds a B.Sc. in Engineering Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, both from that school.  He is based in Dallas, Texas USA.
