Celtro’s innovative switching technologies enable migration of 3G traffic to MPLS architecture by emulating ATM traffic from the cell-site, carrying it over Ethernet or PDH/SDH links using IP/MPLS LSPs. At the edge of the backhaul network, DynaMate switches receive MPLS streams and terminate MPLS sessions, de-encapsulating the various traffic types into their original format (3G-ATM, 2G-TDM,) and forwarding them to their destination (3G-RNC, 2G-MSC).
