ECI Veteran to Fill Top Celtro Sales Post

Mr. Gabriel Matzkin, formerly VP Sales of ECI’s Optical Division, will be new VP Worldwide Sales

(Tel Aviv, Israel) June 25, 2008 – Celtro, a pioneer and leading global supplier of creative switching solutions for the mobile backhaul network, today announced the appointment of Mr. Gabriel Matzkin to the position of Vice President Sales. Matzkin will be responsible for overseeing and developing Celtro’s worldwide sales network, including account management, pre- and post sales business functions, as well as new market penetration.

A veteran sales executive with considerable technical background in telecommunications, Matzkin held several executive positions at ECI Telecom - most recently as Vice President Sales of the Optical Division, where he was responsible for the division’s global sales. Prior to this position, he was AVP Sales and Marketing for APAC in the same ECI division, supporting local ECI offices in all aspects of the sale cycle. Before that, Matzkin was Telecom Director of the ECI Project Management Group, directly responsible for the optical division's post sales activities.
