The second generation of Celtro’s DynaMate™ Management System (DMSVIEW) adds enhanced and innovative network management functionality to Celtro’s feature-rich backhaul management system.

The easy-to-use DMSView is a comprehensive client-server software package, supporting any RAN transmission scenarios or technology - ATM, TDM or IP/MPLS. Together with Celtro DynaMate systems, DMSView delivers the best of mobile backhaul traffic awareness, extensive and detailed reports on network and traffic behavior, and outstanding Layer 2-4 Operations and Management.

Providing carrier-grade scalability and reliability, the robust DMSView runs over both UNIX and Windows, and was designed to support thousands of Celtro DMT switches.

An intuitive and user-friendly interface provides a birds-eye network view, and easy drill-down from network segment to any managed DMT element, including:

• Fault Management – complete alarm visibility at all times, with alarm severity notification.
• Network Configuration Management – both offline and runtime point-and-click provisioning of both station-specific attributes and services provided by any group of stations.
• Performance Management – collects and presents key performance and network utilization parameters in graphic or Excel formats for rapid analysis or integration into analysis tools.
• Security Management – provides a hierarchy of access authorization levels, logged and visible by the system administrator.

Within a set of DMT systems, each individual DMT switch runs an SNMP Agent, managed by the SNMP Manager. This SNMP management tool connects to Agents using either an IP overlay network or an in-band DMT-to-DMT IP tunnel, which is carried by two embedded channels – high priority for alarms and low priority for other O&M tasks.

DMSView was designed specifically to streamline and accelerate mobile backhaul operations by minimizing O&M task complexity via point-and-click control panels and task automation. DMSView offers:

• System and segment provisioning, with verification
• Event filtering and color-coding
• Real-time zooming into traffic and performance graphs
• Exporting of reports to Excel format.

Overcoming a significant OSS integration entry barrier, DMSView enables seamless northbound integration into Service Provider OSSs by means of an SNMP Proxy integrated into the SNMP Manager.
