How does it Work?
The DynaMate family of mobile backhaul switches aggregates and optimizes 2G backhaul traffic, grooming 2G TDM traffic at the 64Kbps level, and optimizing groomed traffic with gains of up to 3:1 for Abis traffic and up to 2:1 for Ater traffic.

Leveraging unique patented optimization algorithms, Celtro eliminates traffic redundancies - idle frames, silent frames, and constant patterns in voice, data and signaling traffic. Actual relevant information is classified as voice, data and signaling support and packetized into layer 2 packets. Traffic is statistically multiplexed at output buffering, and the optimized traffic terminated at the receiving end, regenerating the original non-optimized flow.

For the 2G network evolving to 3G, Celtro’s DynaMate solution optimally converges 2G and 3G backhaul traffic by eliminating transport protocol inefficiencies, statistically multiplexing traffic, and providing real time dynamic sharing of network resources between 2G and 3G services, while maintaining strict QoS commitments for all services.
